Leah A. DeFilippo is the law clerk for Angel M. DeFilippo, Esquire.
Leah received her JD, cum laude, in 2018 from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Throughout her 2L and 3L years, Leah was a research assistant and teaching assistant to the Director of the Legal Research and Writing ("LRW") Program.
In addition, in 2016, she was chosen to represent her law school as a Summer Associate in the Anti-Defamation League's ("ADL") Summer Associate Research Program, where she teamed with another student from her school and together they researched and co-wrote a published summary and memoranda on a cutting-edge civil rights issue.
Leah was a member of the Animal Legal Defense Fund and the Tort Law Society. At graduation, Leah received a bronze pro bono honor, recognizing her for at least 50 hours of pro bono service throughout her law school career.
