David Fassett

Dave Fassett focuses his practice on commercial and other civil disputes, criminal investigations and prosecutions, and transactional matters. He counsels and defends both corporate and individual clients in a variety of matters before federal, state, and administrative courts; governmental and private agencies; professional licensing boards; and other tribunals. He has over 30 years’ experience in defending complex matters at the investigative, pretrial, trial, and appellate levels and has successfully argued motions, tried cases, and appealed decisions on countless occasions in numerous forums. He specializes in identifying, developing, and briefing factual and legal issues quickly and persuasively in order to resolve disputes in their infancy or avoid them entirely.

His Story

Dave graduated with honors at Duke University and Georgetown University Law Center. He started his career at a large law firm for two years, where he met Jack Arseneault. The both of them decided to leave and form a boutique litigation practice and their partnership has continued uninterrupted for over 30 years.

 

Due to Dave's long tenured and successful career, he is annually recognized in both "The Best Lawyers in America" and "New Jersey Super Lawyers" in the practice areas of both appellate practices and white-collar criminal defense. Dave has also published several articles analyzing developments in the law and lectures on emerging legal issues. Dave has and continues to build strong relationships with his clients which has left a lasting impact on many people's lives.
