Laura Stuart
Laura Stuart is an experienced attorney who is familiar with federal and state practices. Laura is very knowledgeable about multiple substantive areas of law, including employment, securities, white-collar criminal defense, antitrust, commercial and intellectual property. Laura is an excellent legal writer with keen attention to detail. She is a self starter with solid organizational, project management and multitasking skills.
Her Story
Laura began her legal journey serving in the federal court in the District of New Jersey. For over one year, she worked as a law clerk to the Honorable G. Donald Haneke, U.S.M.J. Following her clerkship, Laura went on to work for a large New York law firm for a number of years. During this time, she primarily focused on commercial litigation, including securities law and white collar criminal defense. She currently concentrates her practice on civil litigation. While Laura was at law school, she served as Senior Managing Editor of the Rutgers Law Review and she was also a student teaching associate for Legal Research and Writing. In addition to practicing law with the firm, Laura works as an Assistant Professor of Legal Practice for Seton Hall where she teaches Introduction to Lawyering.
